Meet Pancake, a sweet & super smart Frenchie
Pancake is a fabulous, fun, little French Bulldog she is currently in a foster home decompressing from living in a shelter for over a month. We are taking adoption applications for her now but it will be a little bit before she’s ready for her forever home!
Pancake came to use as she wasn’t thriving in a shelter system and was losing weight. She’s currently on a specialized diet for her skin and horrendous ears but is started to do so much better with proper care.
Pancake has recently undergone a laparoscopic spay and been updated on her all vaccines. She is going for a recheck on her ears soon.
Since came in as stray to the shelter we have little information on her history but he is reactive on leash but can have dog friends. She has high-prey drive for cats and small animals. Pancake has received full vet care, including vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea/tick treatment, and bloodwork. Her bloodwork is good, no issues seen. She does have to gain a couple of pounds, mostly muscle so that is part of what we are working on now that she is spayed.
Home Requirements
Pancake will do best in a home as a solo dog but loves to make doggie friends outside her home. She has a big personality in a tiny package. Even while underweight, she strength was impressive, and her energy level is high:
Active Level: Pancake needs to go for 30-60 mins walks.
Standalone home (no shared walls): Pancake does bark when she hears noises and would be best in a house, not in an apartments, condos, or townhomes.
Fully fenced yard (5–6 ft): She’s curious and would escape if given the opportunity. She’s not ready to be off-leash, so an escape-proof yard is a must.
A Family Committed to Ongoing Training: Pancake is an intelligent, eager-to-please girl who already knows her basic commands and a few extra tricks. She thrives on learning new things and enjoys the mental stimulation that training provides. Pancake will do best with a family that is committed to continuing her education through positive reinforcement, consistency, and clear structure. With the right guidance, she will continue to grow into an exceptional companion.

Playful: Bulldog-style zoomies, tug-of-war, and fetch and the flirt pole are her favorite things
Affectionate: Loves all the attention.
Confident: No issues with stairs, cars, or travel—she’s a great adventure sidekick.
